Wild Trails Safari names every animal in its guests' own images
Wild Trails Safari runs safaris in Kenya. Its companion app lets guests keep a record of the animals they meet on the way.
Challenge
A guest takes an image of an animal and wants to know what it is, there and then. Building and running species recognition is not a safari company's work.
Solution
The app sends each image to the Detection API in one request and gets the species back in about a second. The engine is the same one that identifies the captures in Wildlife Monitoring.
